This is a good video review of the new Revolights bicycle lights. It’s a great improvement on all the kinds of bicycle lights. It takes over an hour to install them, which means that they are effectively permanently on your bike. That’s not a bad thing if one cycles in the dark on a daily basis, but someone who does not cycle at night that often may not like to have a slightly bulky object on both their rims when they only use them once a week or two. I suspect that as the design of these lights improves they will become smaller, less bulky, and perhaps even detachable. But until then, and because they retail at $250, I think fewer people will buy them. I think I will wait until the second or third generation before I consider purchasing these lights, though that said they are excellent, look very cool, and gives a night cyclist the best visibility and lighting system yet!
